Cancellations Policy

Cancellations, Variations & Termination of Lease:
a.

Either User (Host or Renter) may cancel the Contract without penalty within three (3) days of acceptance by providing notice in writing or through the Website (“Cooling Off Period”) provided the Contract has not commenced. If either party seeks to cancel or amend the Contract outside of the Cooling Off Period, that party must provide two (2) days’ notice (for short/medium-term) and two (2) weeks’ notice (for long-term )(“Notice Period”)
* If the Host cancels, the Renter will always receive a full refund.

b.

If, as a Renter, you cancel your requested booking inside the Cooling Off Period, FyndSpace will cancel any pre-authorization to your credit card and/or refund any amounts charged to your credit card in connection with the requested booking post deducting a nominal charge of 5% towards convenience fee.
If, as a Host you cancel the requested booking inside the Cooling Off Period, you will not be entitled to receive any Rental payments, and you must immediately repay any monies received in advance as consideration of the Contract being completed along with a nominal charge of 5% payable to FyndSpace towards convenience fee.

c.

Renter Cancellation policy:

Short-term bookings (1 to 3 Days)

  • Before booking starts: Full Refund minus 1 day
  • Upto 24 Hours before booking starts: 50% of the booking amount
  • After booking starts: No Refund

Medium-term bookings (3 to 10 Days)

  • Before booking starts: Refund minus 2 day
  • Upto 24 Hours before booking starts: 25% of the booking amount
  • After booking starts: 50% Refund for remainder of the period minus 1 day

Long-term bookings (10 Days + )

  • Before booking starts: Refund minus 2 days
  • Upto 24 Hours before booking starts: 25% of the booking amount
  • After booking starts: 50% Refund for remainder of the period minus 1 day

If, as a Host, you wish to cancel the Contract outside of the Cooling Off Period, you must provide two (2) days’ notice (for short/medium-term) and two (2) weeks’ notice (for long-term )(“Notice Period”) in writing to the Renter and through the Website of your intention to cancel the Contract. By cancelling the Contract, you acknowledge that you are breaking the terms of the Contract, agree to continue to store the Stored Goods for the Notice Period (if already located in the Space) and forfeit the FyndSpace Rent payable to you for the period of the Notice Period. FyndSpace may, at its absolute discretion, refund part or all of the FyndSpace Rent paid by the Renter for the Notice Period.

Termination conditions: If, as a Host, you have reasonable suspicion that a Renter is storing Prohibited Goods or is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, you have the right to immediately terminate the Contract and to ask the Renter to remove the items from the Host’s premises. The Host shall provide reasonable notice and opportunity for the Renter to cure such breach or otherwise remove such items. The Host may also take steps to inform law enforcement authorities and take actions to remove the items from their property.

f.

Termination conditions: If the Renter does not pay the Total Fees, FyndSpace or the Host may, upon giving two (2) days to remedy the non-payment of fees immediately terminate the Contract and may:

  1. Deny the Renter access to the Space or Host's property until the default is cured;
  2. Give the Renter one (1) days' notice to vacate; and
  3. Collect charges as appropriate and exercise any other remedy allowed by law until the outstanding fees have been paid in full.
g.

Stored Goods are stored by the Host as bailee. If the Renter does not remove such items upon reasonable notice, or the Renter fails to reclaim Stored Goods upon expiry of the Contract (“Abandoned Goods”) such items may be removed by Host and shall be subject to forfeiture by Renter. A Host is entitled to sell or dispose of Abandoned Goods where:

  1. The Host first notifies FyndSpace with full particulars of the Stored Goods;
  2. The Host follows all reasonable directions of FyndSpace;
  3. Having regard to the circumstances of the default or abandonment, FyndSpace will, at our absolute discretion, direct the Host to remit or retain any remaining proceeds of sale. If, as a Host you cancel the requested booking inside the Cooling Off Period, you will not be entitled to receive any FyndSpace Rental payments, and you must immediately repay any monies received in advance along with 5% convenience fee as consideration of the Contract being completed.
The Rules
  1. Complaints must be raised with FyndSpace within 24 hours after the booking starts.
  2. A booking is officially cancelled once we approve the cancellation.
  3. FyndSpace will mediate when necessary and has the final say in all disputes.
What Constitutes A FyndSpace Day?
1.

In Case of Parking Space Renters:

Our 'days' are calculated by a calendar day that resets at 5am as per the local time of the country where the space is located. We do this to account for renter who might be parking for evening events.

If your booking extends beyond 5am, you will be charged for two days, even if the booking spans less than 24 hours.
For example:

  • 7.00pm 1st January - 2.00am 2nd January = one day.
  • 7.00pm 1st January - 8.00am 2nd January = two days.
2.

In Case of Storage & Office Space Renters:

Our 'days' are calculated by a calendar day that starts at 12:00 pm and resets at 10am of the following day as per the local time of the country where the space is located. The time of the move-in and move-out may be preponed or postponed by the consent of the Host subject to prior intimation and written confirmation.

If your booking extends beyond 10am, you will be charged for two days, even if the booking spans less than 24 hours.
For example:

  • 3.00pm 1st January - 10.00am 2nd January = one day.
  • 3.00pm 1st January - 11.30am 2nd January = two days.
3.

In Case of Exhibition Renters:

The timings of the exhibition spaces are solely as per those mentioned in the Host’s Listing and in accordance with the time mentioned by the Organizer of the exhibition.
